Introduction
This is a sequel to these prior posts:
South Africa’s history from the first white settlement in 1652 to the end of the Boer War in 1902.
From the founding of the Broederbond in the early 20th century to the adoption of apartheid in 1948.
How I learned about the ultra secretive Broederbond.
Comparisons between the two primary groups of white South Africans, the Afrikaans and the English.
COVID
In the decades following my immigration to Canada in the late 1970s, I gradually gained more insights into society, politics, and history, and my judgements softened to an extent.
What I consider to be the biggest leap in my understanding happened 40+ years later, during covid.
It started with my detecting a smelly rat in the covid narrative. Then my investigation of Big Pharma took me down other rabbit holes.
The Broederbond on steroids
It dawned on me that there was a giant conspiracy, a secret organization running things behind the scenes. But, instead of running only one country, this outfit ran most of the world.
And these findings were not only relevant to the present day. I noticed a thread of nefarious activity going back apparently forever.
Who is behind the curtain?
It’s seemingly impossible to identify who the ultimate puppet master is. If someone is known to the public — be they a president, a prime minister, a monarch, a CEO, a billionaire, or whoever — there’s an excellent chance they’re in on the scam. But, if we know their name, we can be confident that they are not at the top of the pyramid.
One truth-seeker referred to the penultimate controller as the Apex Predator. I like that term because it conveys what that entity is about without pretending to know its specific characteristics.
Though they don’t qualify as the Apex Predator, European royal families, especially the British branch, have positions in the control structure. They’ve been running large swaths of the world for centuries. At one time they wielded power openly. When they encountered pushback, they changed tactics. Now they trade on charm. But you better believe that an iron fist lurks inside that velvet glove.
Goodness, Grandma, what a beastly mask you have
When I first immigrated to Canada, I thought it was radically different from South Africa. Famously apologetic Canada seemed so kind and gentle by comparison with the notoriously unapologetic South Africa of the apartheid era.
But, as Canada imposed covid masks on us individuals, its mask of gentility slipped to reveal its fangs. The covid lockdowns, the treatment of the truckers, the revelations about residential schools for First Nations children, and other disclosures have shown Canada to be uglier than we previously thought.
Canada is a British Dominion. Two other well known British Dominions, Australia and New Zealand, went even further in dropping their relaxed facades during covid. “Dictator Dan” Andrews, the Premier of the formerly mellow state of Victoria, and Jacinda Adern, the Prime Minister of pastoral New Zealand, imposed particularly egregious covid measures.
The British Crown also has an inordinate number of connections with, and influence over, elements of the American government, including the three-letter agencies (the CIA, the FBI, etc.).
Back in more innocent times, I thought of various continents as being vastly different from each other. Now I see many commonalities. The thread that runs through them is the Cabal’s control.
I can understand the Broederbond
I have a certain amount of empathy for the Afrikaans leaders who founded the Broederbond.
They recognized that they were up against a formidable adversary, the British Crown. It was a foe that regarded them with contempt.
During the Boer War, the British army rounded up Boer women and children and herded them into tent cities. Thousands of them died from crowded and unsanitary conditions. Because of the Boer War tent cities, the United Kingdom is credited with the invention of concentration camps. To this day, the Afrikaans people revere those women and children as their martyrs.
And, following the Boer War, the British-led administration and English-speaking South Africans treated Afrikaans people with disdain.
The founders of the Broederbond realized there was no reasoning or negotiating with the British Crown. I can see how, under the circumstances, they resorted to subversion.
As I see it, there was a tragic flaw in their strategy. The Afrikaans turned around and did to blacks what the English had done to them, and worse. A saying that encapsulates this phenomenon is:
Hurt people hurt people.
White Hat Alliance
In the truth-seeking community, there is a widespread belief in a cadre of benign military that is secretly helping the common people.
One of its names is the White Hats.
Though this corps is thought to be spread across the world, its headquarters is believed to be in the United States.
There are many hypotheses about the duration of the White Hats’ existence. Some say that they’ve been around since the beginning of the world. Among those who believe in the White Hats, the consensus is that they have been around at least since President Kennedy’s assassination.
The explanation goes that, like the founders of the Broederbond, the American White Hats knew they were facing a diabolical enemy. The only hope for thwarting it was to be subversive.
Q
One small group within the larger White Hat Alliance is Q.
An entity called Q started posting cryptic messages on the internet in 2017. It is said that the group that comprises Q consists of fewer than ten people, most of them drawn from the military.
Ordinary citizens who were interested in such things worked tirelessly at decoding the meanings of Q’s cryptic posts. Somewhere along the way, the decoders acquired the label of Anons. The Anons started publishing their interpretations of the Q posts. Some Anons acquired followers who relied on them for their interpretations.
You can become an Anon if you want to make the effort of decoding the Q posts. A couple of years ago, I tried to decode a handful of them. I couldn’t make heads or tails of them.
Similarities and differences
If the White Hats exist, something that they share with the Broederbond is secrecy.
On the other hand, I have not detected a hint of exclusivity among patriotic, freedom-loving Americans. They seem to have an elastic tent that continually expands to include anyone who wants to enter it.
From reading interpretations supplied by Anons, I would say the White Hats and Q have just as inclusive an attitude as the larger patriotic movement has.
This is where the current generation of freedom lovers differs from the members of South Africa’s National Party and the Broederbond, in my opinion. Even if contemporary freedom lovers have suffered, from covid measures and other injustices, I find in them no desire to tread on anyone else.
That is a lesson that today’s freedom lovers seem to have learned from the failed change agents of other times and places.
Inclusivity is a feature of the freedom movement that I respect.
If the freedom movement was to lose that ethos, it would blot its copy book in my eyes.
